Suprised that McCallum has been dropped from the squad competely, I think he’s been pretty good since he came in
It looks like 3-5-2 so I'm not going to knock it. At least it's not a dead-in-the-water 4-3-3. Let's see.
"It's all our fault", chant the City fans. If we lose this one, Smiffy is on his way. Absolute dog ****e
Smith has got to go and it's nothing to do with what he said about the fans. The players are capable of much more than what Smith is getting out of them. I'd rather lose playing Frake ball than watch us playing like this even if we win.
When you get the white band across, keep pressing CANCEL and you'll eventually get through to o the game.
Strangely, WhoScored has us edging it on points 6.56 to 6.46 with possession even. Our midfield has done ok and we're getting much more from Gibbs than Hayden managed. The problem lies in getting the ball forward to Pukki and Sargent. The 3-5-2 formation has worked well except for that.
My guess is that he is desperate get 3 points - a kind of "sh1t or bust" scenario. Even he is beginning to realise that his P45 is out of the cabinet, waiting to be handed over.
I don't care what the stats say. I want to see us playing entertaining football. Nothing we did in that first half worked well and it certainly wasn't worth the time it took to watch it. With the squad we've got we should be comfortable playing a team like Luton. With a couple of exceptions the players are just going through the motions.
