What I like is that we nearly always look competitive. We've all seen Sunderland teams over the years who might as well not have turned up. Completely reliant on the opposition performing well below par to get anything from a game. This is not one of those teams. You never get a whiff of 'not trying' from them.
Any 1 of those front 4 on the ball are worth the ticket price alone. The fans get value for money, even when we don't win in my opinion.
Jack Clarke really needs to stop giving away stupid free kicks when he loses possession, especially around our box
Should've had one for taking Clarke out - another shocking referee. If we can keep the attitude up and get at them again in the second half we'll win this
I thought their yellow was fair enough - Clarke jumped up which made it look worse - but then the yellow for Cirkin was ****ing laughable. It's that lack of consistency which is frustrating.
Bloke in the crowd with his camera phone out for the penalty! People are so ****ing weird. It's the same as those people who film a band at a gig. Just savour the moment. The quality isn't going to be good enough to relive the moment and you've just missed half of the moment you want to relive by watching it through a camera.
