Alright lads, just a quick message to say well done for yesterday. You may have cost me 50 quid on my accy, but it's always good to see a team put one over the scousers, more so on their own turf too! Could've quite easily gone on to win it.

Hope Routledge is working wonders for you! Never really cut it for us in the Prem, but he made a fantastic little run yesterday! Oh, and I'd quite happily take Sinclair off your hands? ;)

Good luck for the rest of the season, apart from those two games against Newcastle eh!

    <ok>

Guys please keep this on thread !! if Dragon wants to air his views thats fine ands thats the way it should be !! just because you dont agree with his views doesnt mean he is not ientitled to them!!

There were Swans posters calling daiswan an idiot (or words to that effect) and saying he was being disrespectful because he said he fancied the swans to do well!! ffs !! so there was a fair amount of @r$e crawling taking place if you ask me.

There was great banter and debate on scotts thread (which was exellent) but the likes of dragon and daiswan were rounded on because they beleived the swans were good enough to win at anfield ! well , guess what ? they were right ,we should have won at anfield , i dont see any of those swans fans who mocked them coming on here and admiting they were wrong.

All i can say is respect your own fans views as much as the away teams, its not being disrespectful to back your OWN team for a win !! how that is deemed as a lack of respect ive no idea.

Liverpool fans showed their appreiciation of the way swans play football by clapping them off the field, all daiswan and dragon did was warn them that might happen :)

Acid hippo- thanks mate, the swans are starting to grow in confidence now and as long as we can keep our first team squad fit we will have a great chance of stating up!! its still early days though and its going to get harder not easier for us.

Newcastle are flying and had another win yesterday, i wrote an article about the Stoke v Newcastle game saying how poor the football was by both teams , having watched Newcastle yesterday its nice to see that they dont play that wat every week !!

Thought they were a touch lucky against Everton TBH, but we need all the luck we can get in this league!!

Thanks guys. Good to see it's not just me. Those two jokers are an embarrassment. We've been in this League two minutes and nut jobs like DPJ and NJ are giving it large making our Club and its fans look small and petty. Comments I've seen like "Liverpool are just not that good" and "Chelsea are past it" make me cringe. They look down their noses at teams that have been in this Division for many years and it's just the sort of thing our near neighbours said we'd do. Arrogance personified.

A 'vociferous minority', as Scott says. I prefer his other decription. Twats.

Believing we'd lose at Liverpool doesn't mean we weren't all hoping for the opposite.

Nobody rounded on them because of their views, they were rounded on because of the way they put them across. Dai was simply confident and maybe a bit cheeky, but Phil didn't endear himself and has since tried to justify it by saying it's because "he hates Liverpool" which, for me, is no reason to behave like that. It appears most people agree with that, too.

Edit:I'd take this to PM if so many people didn't have opinions on it.

Ivoralljack on another thread: "Seriously, Phil, what I have been reading isn't the Phil I know. Have banter by all means but let's keep it within reason."

    Spot on.

Yawn.... here we go again....squabble, squabble picking at old sores. No Proph or HJ to blame so then people turn on each other. This is all very attractive from new posters that would have no doubt checked the forum out yesterday.

Boys .......it is what it is, a difference in opinion/personalities. You can agree or disagree or simply stay reticent, but once you have made your point..............let it lie!

I have never said anything like that about other clubs HTR, so i await your apology for your false accusations . You are fabricating total lies about me now for some reason.

Swimaway is absolutly spot on here, there seems to be a lack of respect for other peoples views , as ive said many times before there is no right or wrong with an opinion, some posters who take my views very personally have even stated that "they are always right" (HTR) how can you have serious/intresting debate with someone who is ALWAYS right!!

I dont like seeing our own fans picked on for their views, if they think they are going to beat Liverpool then they have a right to say so!! what we have here is other posters critizing them for showing "a lack of respect" when all they are doing is airing their views about the game!

absolutly pathetic by some jacks who prefer to brown nose away fans rather than respect the opinnion of a poster who just so happens to have a different viewpoint.

I have been insulted a few times by HTR but its not a problem for me , i respect the guy as a poster even if that respect only goes 1 way.i still try to keep things on thread regardless of any abuse i may get for having a different viewpoint or calling things as i see them :)

I post regular articles on here and always manage the content as much as possible .

PROUD of the team yesterday,PROUD of that fact some jacks backed their team to win despite being mocked and called disrespectful ,PROUD we have passionate supporters ;)

Norway obviously you are jesting here, the vitriol I and Scott had from you and phil because of the view we had that vetch and proph were taking things to far, was beyond the joke and beyond any discussion! But it's ok as long as it is someone else getting abused on here <doh>

Proud in general of the team but extremely proud of the defense . At 1.5 million , Vorm maybe the best buy of the Premier League this season , he's been crucial . But a quick look at the back 4 these past 5 or so games just leaves me in awe . Rangel , Williams , Monk & Taylor . All played as regular starters 4 seasons ago in League1 for us , except for Taylor , he came to the Swans last season from the conference . Throw in the contribution of Caulker the rest of the time & we have 5 clean sheets from 11 games , throw out the mix up against Arsenal from Vorm & the own goal by Graham against Bolton it it could easily be 7 clean sheets from 11 games . Our Premier League record of 4 home clean sheets by a promoted team to start the season may never be broken . Pride squared !!

What vitriol was that jager ???

    Dont think i called you a Tw@t or a t@sser or a nut job did i ? no. exactly !

As i said its ok if HTR wants to be abusive i can handle it, but can he ? if you read this thread from start to finish you will see where the trouble and abuse started, i havent reacted to it just maintained my view that people should be free to voice their opinion , and actually Jager that was the issue before wasnt it, you and scott deleting posts and censoring peoples views.

Alot of positives came from that so its good to talk!!

For the 3rd time now i will try to get this thread back on track, its hard enough with HTR de railing but now i got the MODS doing the same thing!!

Jager if you will , move on and return to topic , you and scott have banged on about sending PM to avoid clogging up threads yet both of you refuse to practice what you preech !! its totally laughable isnt it ??

As ive said , Proud of the boys and proud that some of our posters called it correct RE the swans performance , hopefully the team will take a massive confidence boost from this, they will be looking forward to the man utd game with a view of maybe taking something from it , which is a possibility IMO.

    ;)

Crackerjack- Thats what i call positive waves !! ;) i didnt actually realise that , but the figures are good arnt they . I keep mentioning the Chelsea game, i thought we gave up and showed too much respect ,chelsea were good dont get me wrong but i thought the attitude against Liverpool was bang on , we can take so much from it ,not just the 1 pt but massive confidence boost too

Vorm is quality ,but i think he still has a fair bit to learn, he lacks confidence in his kicking but that will come with time , weather we will get that time with him or it will be with someone else ,who knows ;)

I apologise, in fairness you're right Norway I should have sent PM's, it's just quite a few people had commented on it in the thread so it was only fair to respond to that. From there though I should have taken it out of public. Aside from that, let's took football now innit.

I have to agree with Norway, we are once again having a debate about thought police, and HTR, is trying to establish his own set of rules, I see HTR as the real problem, he says nothing regarding opposition fans indiscrepancies, but is always quick to jump on Dai, or myself for that matter, he slagged Dai off, and then myself for just having the view, that we will get a result and that Liverpool's defence is nothing special, ok I had to deal with an immediate insult from the Liverpool poster, for having a view that dared to question their almighty team, as it turned out both Dai and myself where correct in our view. From the point of one Liverpool poster, getting personal, the thread then descended into some tit for tat, I'll hold my hands up, that I had had a few beers, and did not choose my words wisely, and that will not happen again, that I can assure you, but HTR does not endear himself to his own posters on here, he is quick to complain regarding Dai and myself in particular, but fails to look at his own comments and language, he can't criticise Dai and myself for the way we presented our view, when he has been even worse with his attacks on his own, matter of fact HTR made the whole thing worse and gave ammunition to the Liverpool posters, shame that HTR is so quick to look at the faults in Dai and Myself, and can't see his own, his language to both myself and Norway, was disgusting, and got to a level, that you don't get from me, but he quickly removed it, and I edited one of his other posts. We all need to chill on this, including you HTR, and I've apologised on Scott's thread and explained, I hope you apologise for how you have posted on this thread HTR!............

Scott - Spot on , i know your trying to do the right thing and i respect that immensly ;)

I dont take sides with any poster on here ,some have similar views some dont, im a passionate Swans fan ,we all are ,sometimes other posters forget its all about different opinions , when im home Xmas time it would be nice to meet up with the 606 ers on here , im sure if we were all sat around a table talking football we would still disagree about things but take it in the right manner , just like you do on the terraces :)

The coldness of the keyboard can sometimes mean things get taken the wrong way , its all good fun though !! ;)

While I appreciate that, you did tell me I was self righteous and had my head stuck up my own arse. I didn't think that was very nice... ;)
