one may hate a certain club or clubs but why hate their supporters? now to all jacks pls support Scott in Movember
Thanks Musty. Phill, just because you hate Liverpool doesn't mean you (especially as you're a mod on here) can go around slinging insults and baiting people giving the rest of us a bad name. If you want that kind of stuff I'm sure there's a Liverpool version of "Planet Swans" where every other character is a smiley or a swear word, but try and bring a bit more humility to the table mate.
I thought I would come on here and wish you the very best for the rest of the season. I think you might be O.K if you can pick up a few points away from home (Like yesterday) and keep up your home form!
Cheers man! I'll send you a PM before the reverse fixture, maybe we can co-operate on the next match thread
DPJ: You should seriously consider your position as a mod. Well out of order. As one of the most respected posters ivor has said: "Seriously, Phil, what I have been reading isn't the Phil I know. Have banter by all means but let's keep it within reason." WELL out of line. You're antagonising Swans fans as well as others. Think about it.
Thanks Chris and to you mate, please excuse the bickering on here between us lot, we should be enjoying the hell out of the season, but it seems some are happy arguing at nothing. Anyway see you on the return leg, hopefully our fate would have been sorted favourably beforehand
Many of the Liverpool fans have been very complimentary to our team after yesterday. Yes, they are very disappointed in their own team - but who wouldn't be when you've spent money like they have? Anyway, I think that the Liverpool fans will like us even more when we sweep aside Man United 3-1 next weekend at Fortress Liberty! Wishful thinking, yes - but I've got a good feeling about the game. It's the first home game where the pressure is off us as, on paper, we shouldn't be expecting to get anything!
please log in to view this image Oh for goodness sake calm down the lot of you, I don't hate Liverpool at all, I was Drunk in charge of my keyboard, check the time of the post to Ivor, I got in from the pub after a big party at 2.30 am, had a few during the day too, hell can't a man celebrate, my apologise to all Liverpool posters, and sorry Ivor, you are correct!........... please log in to view this image
No probs, Phil. We've disagreed before about one or two things but I've always respected your views and I guessed from the hysterical tone of your posts that it was probably the booze guiding your typing fingers. Without getting mawkish in any way it takes a big man to say sorry when he's gone out on a limb as far as you did. Total respect for that, mate. I hope Aussie, and others who were upset, accept your post in the spirit with which it was offered and we can all move on united in support of our fabulous football team. It was a great performance wasn't it?
Cheers lads, It was the Landlords x wifes 50th, fireworks, roasted pig and all, with a pile of us Jacks celebrating the game yesterday too till early morning!................... please log in to view this image
Like I said, consider your position as a mod. Now. How many times have we criticised Profit for coming on here pissed?
Congrats on great result for you boys yesterday, very good point. Haven't seen the highlights but the fella on soccer sat watching you was saying you had a good few chances to win it
Stanley, it was no fluke and we more than matched them on the footballing side. One of the "quality" Sunday papers said that at times Liverpool were chasing shadows in the second half although they came on strong in the last few minutes or so. The commentator on the stream that I watched said that the football the Swans were playing was a joy to watch. Good times right now and I hope that we have the legs to see it through to the end.
Definitely a long ole season and very difficult,as you say hope to keep it going in 2nd half, but a point at Anfield I would take obviously. As for ourselves well we are up and down but hopefully starting to gel.Few quality signings in Jan fingers crossed and we might have a chance of survival.
