It is (I assume) a very accurate portrayal of life in places like that. Spoilers below if you don't want to read it. [NSFW]That by the end, nothing actually changes. [/NSFW]
Thor was good for a comic film, Cap America was rubbish though. The Avengers is going to be a let down unless Hulk is a bad guy. Sopranos was my fav tv prog ever until I started the Wire, I'm 10 episodes in and it's pure bloke tv.
genuinely ? as i think nothing can top the sopranos but i havent seen the wire. Boardwalk empire is good though slower pace than the sopranos but but not far behind it in quality terms
I've got the Sopranos box set, only TV prog I've ever bought. The Wire is better already but I suppose I need to see it all before fully deciding. I liked Boardwalk Empire but think it needs to now speed up a bit.
high praise indeed , i think ill give it a shot yes it does need to pick up a bit in fairness on a side note blue bloods is ok except for the happy family sunday dinner at the end of every episode
I'm watching The Soprano's again as I watched it when it first came out. Although, it is very very good I agree with Luv that The Wire is better. In fact in my opinion, miles better.
That was my ringtone and a ****ing cool one until Chris ****ing Evans started using it on his show. Another reason to hate the ginger twat. So it got changed to this: "You leave little notes on my pillow. It took me two weeks to figure out F.U. meant Felix Unger!"
Glad you enjoyed it It gets even better - series 2 is excellent, goes in a slightly different direction but is vital to the series. It still has the street focus but also focuses on the Baltimore docks...
Finished Spartacus 1 & 2, all of Shameless, thinking of downloading Arrested Development, anyone seen this series?
