It hasn't come from that Hetton spammer so that's a good sign.

We cant do any better transfer business in the next 2 windows than sign Ross in my opinion. Absolute quality he is. I honestly think if he stays with us for an extended period he can become one of our best strikers and a fan legend. The lad is just class.

If he's signed why aren't the club shouting this from the rooftops...he's that important imo.

    https://www.si.com/soccer/sunderland/news/sunderland-ross-stewart-contract-drop-big-clue

This is so obvious, but just hadnt realised. Rossco will be signing a new deal of some sort in the next 10 days to enable the club to trigger the extra 12 month extension, which is entirely at our discretion (not the player).

No way the club isn't doing this, as we need to protect Stewart as an asset, and also stopping him signing for a non-English club on 1st Jan. (eg, Rangers)

So there has to be an agreement announced between now and 31st Dec.

Presumably Moany is a mag or a common or garden bullshtitter?

There has been problems with Hetton lass account on RTG, I believe...

    Seasons greetings

With the exception of a very small handful every club is a selling club.

Wonder if we have any loans lined up for early Jan. Only have 2 dont we? We have a good reputation in developing loan players and clubs trust us. Mowbray is also apparently trusted by big clubs with young talent. Wonder if we use this for another 2 to bolster gaps. Would be a way to plug the Embleton gap maybe.

Completely ignoring the fact that even if he signs a pre-contract agreement with e.g. Rangers, SAFC can still trigger the extension and that rips up the pre-contract agreement.

Hardly. Let SAFC decide whether to trigger the clause and when, and not be dictated to by external influences (including RS agent).

Assume this translates as we are in for a 19yr old Chilean striker
