Perhaps giving him an extension to his contract is the best commercial option, to retain any sell-on value. I think he is much improved recently but as an out and out striker I don't see it on the TV. Perhaps when you're at the ground he appears better though.
From the interview he gave on the recent trip to Spain, he said he hasn't ruled out going back to Valencia but he has 18months left on his contract and happy at Leeds. Sounded like he could run down his contract and go somewhere on a free.

Not sure exactly what the fee was but somewhere around £27M was widely reported at the time. For me he's been decent value as he was also very good during the latter stages of his first season and before everyone jumps down my throat just remember how much PL goalscorers (or non goalscorers like Che Adams) cost.

I can’t. My months sentence isn’t up unless emu gives me a reprieve. Interesting though in last few weeks I’ve seen get rid of firpo forshaw Bamford Harrison and now rodrigo. We could have a well thinned out squad for February if lads get their way
