Not usually one to criticise places we play but, dear me, Hull is grim.

If I had to choose between living there or Luton it would be a tough call.

I've also never seen so many road works going on at the same time ...

... they must be using all the migrant workers left over from Qatar.

Blimey. Must be a ****hole if it's as bad as Luton. Don't recall ever going to Hull, but I think I shall give it a miss. Just got a guilty in Luton at the Magistrates' Court for doing 71 on the M1. Highways England thought 60 was a better idea, given the light traffic and perfect driving conditions. Twats. I really hate that sphincter of a town...!

So do I, he's a quality player. However I can't help but feel that if we did sell him and replaced him with a similar player who was a set piece specialist we'd be better off. He has to shoulder most of the blame for our inability to score from a dead ball seeing as he takes all of them.

I would like to see us adopt the England cricket approach I think. We don't want draws.....risk defeat to try to produce a win. Play exciting football and go for it.
We know we can do it...we've seen it this season. Di Maria's goal last night reminded me of Jack Clarke v Reading!!:emoticon-0102-bigsm:1980_boogie_down:

    Stewart on Hull ....

“They never disappoint, they sell out every away day. You can hear them the minute we come out for the warm-up.

“They’ve been unbelievable for us this season and will continue to be unbelievable for us.

“It was good to get a tough point on the road, we wanted to send them home with three, but their noise and their support doesn’t go unnoticed for the players.

“Even for myself back in the matchday squad, the noise when I was going out warming up was special so it’s great for me to feel that again.”

“Hopefully Boxing Day we can get a win for them.”

What you talking about? We've been hitting the ball into the crowd for years?

Would imagine so. The fibula comes down to make up the ankle joint on the outside. Guessing the fracture is on the distal end of it and the severity of the impact has also ruptured his ankle ligaments. Be surprised if his ankle didn't dislocate.

Doesn't sound as if he will be back anytime soon.

We needed a powerful box to box midfielder before this injury, even more so now.

A massive shame, feel for the lad. He’s done well for us this season and played plenty of games, despite the criticism he sometimes gets from some.

Bad times for the kid. Had a good year so far with some crucial goals in L1, the play off final and those v Wigan & Luton. Hope he comes back stronger than ever

Feel for the lad. That is an absolute shocker of an injury. Hope he makes a great recovery.

Big blow for the squad. Played in every league game so far. Not convinced we cover his absence within existing squad. Playing in the middle is much more demanding than out wide. Racking my brains a bit here for anyone in the squad to step up?

Gutted for him, it sounds a really bad one.

Time for Matete, Ba and Michut to step up imo

I like Matete. Think he is someone to play deeper though personally. The other two have looked very raw to me so far. That said, best way to learn quick is play games. All they can do now is demand a matchday place through training performances.

Me too but it seems Mowbray doesn’t fancy him at this stage…
