Players get passionate in the wrong way with off the ball stuff rather than throwing solid challenges in to win the ball

I can honestly say that was the worst performance of this season so far. How bad does it have to get before we sack him?

I'm delighted to be rid of the MDT baton after such a clueless, gutless performance.
Absolutely shocking - Hernandez's late cameo apart.

    SMITH OUT

All round shocker. No excuses. The fact the ref blew the whistle with no regard for rampant Blackburn time wasting probably just did us a favour.

So what animal were we tonight, 'Deano'? A camel? A duck-billed platypus? A three-toed sloth?

I would include Sargent and McCallum from the starters and Gibbs when he came on. The others just seem to be going through the motions. The last thing I want now is to scrape a promotion and go up with Smith to be humiliated every week.

Let’s face it, if we got promoted we would probably come straight down next season. Perhaps these poor performances will keep us in the Championship where we can at least compete most of the season. Smith is unlikely to be given the push for financial reasons, so he has nothing to lose. Looks like stalemate.

We wouldn't just come straight back down, we'd beat Derby's long-standing record.

Just seen the ‘highlights’ on Sky Sports News and their second goal was deflected off Sara. Two own goals is comical. Blackburn had just lost two games on the spin to PNE and Burnley shipping 7 goals in these games.

He knows it’s over. He won’t resign though, not without a payoff - they’ll need to sack him.

Listened to Michael Bailey's post-match vlog, and he said that it wasn't announced at the game (unusual but not unheard of) but it was low. I've read "lowest in a decade" on twitter, but not sure if that's hyperbole.

I think it says something about the current level of trust in the club when that could be totally innocent, or I could totally believe that's an attempt to suppress bad news. Or the stadium announcer didn't feel he could say "thanks for your fantastic support" after announcing the figure....
