Embleton has his knee at chest height though with full studs showing.

I thought TM did alright to-day, subs were fine, and timely, I like him, and he has a good improving squad to work with, the future is bright imo; OaU

Under the circs, a decent point. Baath injured was a massive blow to us I thought. Been one of our best players and is an organiser. Thought we were more passive after that. Good to see Ballard back, but bit rusty, which is fair enough. Shocker from him for the pen mind. We got lucky.

Thought Embo was a bit unlucky. From the refs angle it probably looks a bad one, leading with high boot and studs. Would have liked to it 11v11 finish. Ross Stewart is just the man. Some finish. Like he has never been away. I love the lad me.

Wasnt too convinced by the selection today to be honest. Cirkin needs to play, Alese is still very raw in my opinion. Cirkin loads better. Roberts another I would habe started, not Embo. Would like to see Diallo as a 10.

Hey ho, onwards and upwards. A point away from home against a side with a new coach. Not a bad result.

Oh, last thing, not seeing the rationale for hammering Neil, Gooch or Embo personally. All have more than played their part these last 2 seasons for me and deserve credit. Thought Dan Neil was strong out of possession today and him and Evans are an excellent shield when the front 4 lose it. If I were digging players out today it would probably be the likes of Clarke, Simms and Diallo. But all about opinions.

I'm nearly as annoyed by the ref as I was against Blackburn!

Just a curious thing. Before Cirkin was injured and playing so well, wasn't he playing left side of a back 3 and not as a full back in a 4 or have I dreamt that?

Leg was strapped on that stretcher. It could be a bad one. Fingers crossed for the lad, he always gives everything and is an important squad player in my opinion.

To me any player who is badly hurt does not roll over or slap the ground - they lie still
    - I hope he is fine.

Think he did mate, with Clarke as a wing back. Couple of games anyway.

I'm seem to recall it being a strange lop sided formation?

I appreciate he's a great player, but I don't recall him standing out as much as a full back in a 4 as I do as the left side of a 3

I dont like a back 3 personally. I wasnt keen Clarke was at his best there. I think Cirkin has been at his best for us as a full back. Brilliant tackler out widd, 1 on 1 battles excellent and a great option the overlap. Opinions mate.

It might just be my memory of things, hence asking, at my age it's easy to forget.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

I think Cirkin will start on boxing Day as Alese hasn't had a great couple of games, which is a shame as I really like him

Been there mate. Make sure you get it sorted though. One of my knees is a mess after footy injuries. Did my cartilege but never go it sorted, then the cruciate went. Got that done, then cartilege went bad so had that cleaned out. Did ligaments again playing vets which took ages to recover. Now I am struggling big time with my quad tendon, physio working overtime on it. I reckon it all down to not sorting out the first couple of injuries and playing too quick. Recovery massive. Wouldnt swap my footy days though <laugh>

Would have taken a point before the game so reasonably happy, but it's another lead thrown away (albeit in understandable fashion)

Not convinced it was a pen, Ballard looked to have got a touch
Also not convinced about the red, foot was high but did he catch the lad with anything more than a glance to the elbow?

For both incidents, the refs view wasn't the best angle so I can understand why they were given
Great goal by Stewart, so good to see the lad back and got to hope Batth's injury isn't serious as Ballard looked good, but mega rusty

Curious team selection, I don't know what Cirkin has done wrong in recent weeks, but no way is Alese a better left back that him. Also, not sure what Clarke had done to earn a recall - he's been poor for weeks and looks like he needs a rest. I'd be bringing Roberts in next game and hopefully Pritchard is back because we missed him hugely.

It's a point. We'll take it. On to Blackburn now
