Prediction League Season 2022-23

My error on Ipswich and although I asked the question "what do we do with goal times when it's 0-0?" I forgot to blank it out altogether as I suggested we should.

So, restated:

Plym - did you change your prediction for the Ipswich match when you moved your joker?

What I don't understand is that I could have made a mistake entering an individual score, despite having checked each entry at least once. Indeed have done that before, but it would be hard to mistake the very first number in the list. Also, your submission isn't adjacent to anyone who predicted a 1-1 draw, which is what I entered. The most common reason I've got thinks wrong previously is when my eye has strayed to the next person's prediction and picked up a score from in error.

More puzzling is that I definitely checked my automatic calculation of the total scores against those declared here. Whilst I could have misread the same match score twice from a list, I can't see how I coincidentally read 32 for 33 in a one for one comparison to align exactly with a one goal error in entering the Ipswich score.

Clearly you were well within your rights to change your score prediction as you moved your joker well before kick off, but I completed your score entry back on Wednesday, so I didn't check it again on Saturday.

 

My joker was originally on the Oxford v Barnsley game....when the game was called off I moved it to the Ipswich v Peterborough game......I did not change the match score....just moved the joker.

I had estimated a total of 33 goals from the beginning and that wasn't altered at any time.

Interesting cluster of goal times in the quarter of the game, comprising 10,18,19,19 and 22. Only SMH has gone "late" with 40 minutes. Still, as we're all expecting at least 3 goals in the game, perhaps scoring does need to start early.

 

Ah, breaking news: the Peterborough and Port Vale games are OFF.
