One of the companies i pay by direct debit got hacked and the number of scam attempts i receive has shot up the latest being by phone from "Visa Security" who wanted me to push 1 on my handset . Fail to believe Visa would be contacting me about a suspicious direct debit request rather than my bank so ignored them .
Had a letter from Severn Trent this morning about their system being hacked back in August and apparently mine was one of the bank details the hackers got. Nothing dodgy as of yet.
