    Many thought we showed chelsea too much respect ,this is what i was refering to ,i have no idea what your talking about !!

    We didnt do that today we had that arrogance about us ,like we deserved to be on the same pitch as Liverpool , as other posters mentioned ,we came of age today and that was in part to our attitude or arrogance if you like ;)

    sorry to spoil the party lads but regardless of fluking a result at Anfield you will never have the history and prestige that we do. While you celebrate a draw against the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18 time league winners and 5 times winners of the Champions League, we see this as a bad result. While you praise your manager we are calling for the Kings head and will rob his house if things get worse. Congratulations for winning your cup final. We have won 5 European Cup finals including the miracle of Istanbul- something other fans envy us for.

    Fluking a result <laugh> we played a very poor Liverpool side off the park today, your history helps you not at all , looking back on past glories will never win you anything! That is your problem tbh you are a great club with a great history , but the new reality is that clubs have surpassed you , chelsea , man city, spurs and the gunners are ahead of you, man utd are well well ahead of you!

    The swans may not have the history you have, or the team or the millions , but still we should have beat you today as you were bloody awful

    Liverpool 18=5 - I take it your not bitter then !!

    Nobody outside of Liverpool cares about what you did in the past , Liverpool are a great football club,one of the best in fact but your not a great team as today proved to you;)

    Never mind Chelsea and Man city for you next :)

    I wish your team every success for the future and hope you have a great season .

    give it a rest sunshine. we defended incredibly well because we have the best centre back pairing in the world in Jose Enrique and Agger. None of the clubs you mentioned are bigger than us because none of them have won the Champions League as many times as us. We are the biggest club in the world and can and will never be matched

    I agree! Agustien will go straight into the team v Man U instead of Gower. Not just because of the miss but yet again there was a lot of misplaced passed and half challenges which could have easily cost us.

    Brilliant point tho...now for 3 against United :)

    From Vorm to Dyer... a massive team effort again.

    It would be interesting to see Brendans wanted list for January 2012.

    Whilst Situ sounds the midfield physical presence we need I think w'll look at signing
    a few players who have goals in them at premiership level.

    Haven't seen enough of Lita but I'd snap up Simon Cox or Dave Kitson if the chance arose.

    Good result for cardiff , and whilst Mckay doesn't appear to have the rodgers x factor he looks to be doing a tidy job against an unpredictable financial tide .
    It'll mean cutting the cloth and whilst the cloud of boardroom politics and complex ownership issues sttill hovers over CCs at least they're looking steady on the field.

    Whittingham a key man for them and Miller proving useful signing too.

    There are a few who keep mentioning the physical presence thing and ive been saying right from the start that i dont see it being a massive difference IMO.

    I think we get better protection from the referees in the prem league and our small nippy midfielders have advantages perhaps bigger players dont , Kemy and situe will play a part but having seen all of the games so far and us being about 25% of the season in do we really think its physical presence we lack or a creative goal scoring midfielder ??

    im happy to be proved wrong here, but for me the only thing lacking from the small midfielders is goals , the prem is full of 6ft + athletes that cant trap a bag of cement ,i quite like watching our boys run small little rings around them ;)
