If I'm being honest and I've gone this far, so I may aswell, I've no time for Poly, I think he's a wum, on football threads, I've no idea on American politics so haven't a clue what he and others are on about , don't even open the links posted. One poster I feel that does get a rough ride is Dirty Leeds, I don't think he comes on the be a wum but because he has a differing opinion to the majority he gets a rough ride, his opinion is as valid as anyone's but because they're different to the majority he gets called all sorts. You say it's nice to vent your opinions on here but that only seems to be acceptable if you only have one kind of view. Perhaps because I have no strong opinion either way, I see it differently. I invited over a poster I know from another forum, who's bored with where he is, came on and read this and only this as it was enough for him to say thanks but no thanks and in no way is he a snowflake.
Dirty is sound, I used to think he was a bollocks, but I misunderstood him and of course he is entitled to his opinion. As for myself, I've never voted and I didn't come onto the thread for a long time. One reason being is that I didn't know about politics. But over the years all this blm, kneeling crap and the woke and pc stuff and left wing bias has changed me. I never talked religion or politics, but got sucked into it. As for your mate, he should have a look at the other threads, but he should be warned about all the moaning about the team, manager and owner. Anyway I'm not going to fall out with you just because I don't agree with you.
I did say that to him but he just said he wasn't interested, he may try again, perhaps. You see Shaks, we don't agree and we didn't fall out, and no need to, just a discussion of differing opinions done in the correct manner, as it should be.
I blame the break in the season for all this arguing. Sooner we get back to Leeds Utd footy the better.
and 98% of the time I don't lose it with posters, but sometimes I go on one. Anyway Gessa, anyone who I've met from 606 I always try to get on with. That's why I prefer to chat face to face or face to knee in my case because sometimes things sound or look more aggressive in print.
I agree, sometimes I can write something down, read it back and think, ****, that could be taken the wrong way and edit it. Things written down can certainly be read differently to how they were intended to mean
