Not from my POV. It's the Hants Senior Cup FFS. It's a competition that means nothing to either club or its fans.
I like as it's a way for Portsmouth and Southampton to give back to the non-league clubs of Hampshire as they'll get a bumper attendance when they play either of our sides at home. I mean still small, but large by Hampshire cup standards
I notice that there was a Danny Cowley running in the Whiteley parkrun this morning in the 40-44 age group.
I'm pretty sure those two games had entirely different line ups. Also, don't say it's not a derby because you lost.
I enjoy seeing them get off to a good start, every season, before hitting a slump and dropping out of the top 2, before dropping out of the play off places. I expect they will have a recovery at some stage, before falling away again. It’s the hope that kills them.
That can't be true surely? Aren't they the most loyal, loudest fans in the country who stay 'til the end come rain or shine?
