I like the addition of extra extra time, reason being no matter how much a team may try to cheat, the time is getting added on. I think it also adds to the excitement of not knowing exactly when the game is going to end, so 7 minutes get's added, but the ref adds yet another 3 mins to that, because events during ET justified it. It has also been very noticeable to me in this tournament, how var has benefited the less favoured team. Argentina a prime example in their first game, three goals, three offsides, a quick learning curve for them, that you have to play by the rules, and hands of god should now be confined to history. Albeit the definition of a foul has just become comical. My one main concern is that it now takes something like 8 officials + to ref a game, and they still amaze us with their decisions.
