Trust me to pick one that falls at the first then tries to cause mayhem throughout the race. Horse and rider OK though, thank goodness. Busselton ran well for such a young horse to finish third. Congrats to Pilgrim for getting the winner, well done!
I cannot claim the credit, mate. I was just passing it along. I had put Crownthorpe in my ATR Tracker a couple of weeks back at the behest of a mate of mine (the old boy does not do technology so he wanted reminding when it was going to run). He had me put his bet on with the first sparrow’s fart and Bet365 was the worst price going at 13/2. The gamble on Brains (6/1 down to 9/4) then pushed the price out to 17/2 but the SP was only 11/2; still, a winner is a winner and he got back over £400. I wonder if they might give Snapcracklepop another go over ten furlongs as it was staying on at the end rather than challenging the winner. It was punted from 12/1 to 6/1 at the track so someone fancied it or they were laying off your each way.
