My thoughts about FIFA’s bully boy tactics re the Onelove armband.

1. Never give in to a bully, in this case FIFA.
2. Drop Kane for the next game.
3. Put on Pope in Kane’s place. (Doesn’t have to be Pope but anyone of the squad who wasn’t going to play)
4. Make Pope Captain.
5. Pope wears the Onelove armband.
6. FIFA/Referee gives Pope a yellow card.
7. Substitute Pope after 30 seconds and is replaced by Kane.
8. Get every other European country who were going to wear the Onelove armband to do the same.

Or

1. Every player wears the Onelove armband (if they wish and agree)
2. Get every other European country who were going to wear the Onelove armband to do the same.


Then see what FIFA dares to do.

It’s a classic example of the those at the “top” forgetting that they are there to speak for us and not the other way round.
