Did he say "incharge"? Thought it was something like big part (of the process) and had final say - so not fully in charge but clear enough that he has a big say.
The ideal scenario would be Acun drawing up a list based on not606 recommendations for Rosie to then give final approval to.
I scratch my head about why he's Head Coach not manager then. It's just a title, but I thought the point of splitting the function was specifically around transfers? Not the end of the world.
It could be that he's in charge of identifying what positions he wants and then the recruitment team will act from there onwards...
Most likely I would have thought. I would expect a consensus approach between him, Tan and the analysts/performance coaches etc
Yes definitely a consensus then no one person has to take the rap for splashing Acuns crown jewels on a dud.
Hull City can confirm that Ben Warner has joined the club’s first-team backroom staff as coach analyst. The 29-year-old reunites with head coach Liam Rosenior and assistant head coach Justin Walker having worked in the coaching set-up together at Derby County. Warner spent seven years in the Rams’ analysis department, the first four solely with the academy and the last three as head of analysis covering both the senior and youth teams. Before then, he worked at Nottingham Forest for two years while studying for a master’s degree in MRes Performance Analysis at Nottingham Trent University.
Good that Rosie's 'got his man'. Very young, but maybe that's how it is with these roles. Doesn't add experience (as in age / wisdom / 'been there ...') as some had hoped. Having said that, there is already Daws, Barry Richardson and Johny Eyre who are not exactly young and have a fair amount of experience to take insights from. Wonder how that impacts Pardo? Or "can't have too many analysts"?
