No matter what anyone's views of the sport are, I think all would agree that what Kevin Sinfield has done for MND this year should put him well up the list for honours and recognition. A cracking role model, putting himself through a lot of pain and effort for what he believes is a worthy cause, and to support his good friend Rob Burrows and others unfortunate enough to be affected by the cruel disease.
I was at Old Trafford on Saturday and the fact that everyone virtually stayed in their seat to welcome him onto the pitch shows the level of the man that people wanted to applaud him. Incredible effort, for his friend x
That RL World Cup was a ****show. The sport is as good as dead, and its 'fans' don't make it appealing to outsiders. It says a lot that if you ever ask a league fan about the sport, or what the rules are, they can't help but mention union. They just can't help themselves. And you can't really call its one international tournament interesting when the Aussies have won 10 of the last 11, and been losing finalists in the other
