As I said earlier. Give us a female ref just to piss the Iranians off and to make a statement about the rights of women to be treated as equals.

 

Given that the Iranian captain made a statement today supporting the protesters, they might not be that fussed.

 

I don’t think anyone is in any position to be making political statements.

The virtue signalling is getting tiring already to be honest.

They should have shown the opening ceremony today instead of droning on with that hypocrisy
