Verstappen to punt off perez if he tries to pass but then will back him into ferrari if he doesn't.

Mercs pace vanished at the sharp end.

 

About as interesting as Abu Dhabi usually achieves in quali.

After all Vettel's protestations that the Red Bulls were holding him up in the final corner, plus the slow Red Bull in the straight which Hamilton and Russell had to split to avoid, I'm surprised we didn't see even a hint of an investigation.

 

Can't investigate verstappen. He'll ring the president of fia it seems.

I think he can’t win. I would imagine he has been told he toes the line or he’s out. It’s all very well saying he should tell them where to go, but his career is on the line.

 

Red Bull have piled the pressure on Checo by signing Danny as 3rd driver! It's only going to get worse!

 

It’s barely any better for Danny sadly. I don’t think he’d have gone back to the team he’s already left once if he wasn’t trying to save his F1 career. RBR have two good drivers they can play off against each other in a supporting role for Max. I feel sorry for both of them.

 

Lando ended Danny's chances of getting a drive at a good team.

We note here in this house that verstappen isn't in any hurry to build a gap unless Hamilton starts taking leclerc out.

Perez is nicely in striking distance of leclerc which is precisely in our opinion what the brat wants.

We are just also watijg for ocon to hit both vettel and alonso.
