Tried some of those Matteson's chicken things that go in the fridge once, absolutely rank. Tasted like a bag of solidified farts.

If I want a quick snack I'd have to go for Patè on toast. I love the stuff

The first time my mam and dad went to the pictures without me ( I was about 8/9 ) I hid in the pantry and ate a full jar of Haywards pickle onions and then drank the vinegar, I was I’ll for about 4 days. The next time they went I drank one of those big jars of salad cream, man, you want to see that come up again, I was never left with baby sitters again<laugh>.

Great to see we are healthy bunch and picking out all out salad and fruit in the fridge...

I like a tomato, sliced with salt on it. Just for a very quick snack. Salt probably eradicates all health benefits like.

It's made by William Saurin and available in most French Supermarkets and we've been lucky enough to have just had a trip to Vannes to celebrate wedding anniversary.

    Fooker <laugh><laugh><laugh>
me mam always pickled her own red cabbage and onions etc.
I remember gerrin up early one weekend aged about 4 and thought I'd do a few chores whilst me mam and dad were still in bed.
One I remember vividly was filling the sugar bowl up with sugar from the pantry.
Well I thought it was sugar but obviously it was salt the way they threw up with their morning cuppa <laugh>

I used to eat ham cheese and jam sarnies which didn't impress an old girlfriend back in the day :emoticon-0148-yes: <laugh>

Jam sarnies are still something I have. If I am late for work in the morning I get 2 slices of warburtons, slaver blackcurrant jam, chuck them on a plate and they occupy the passenger seat for all of 10 mins as I set off. Cup of tea in the holder. Breakfast of champions.

Every Sunday dinner, in our house, the bread comes out at the end and gets buttered and dropped on the plate. Gravy poured on. Lovely. Proud to say my kids reckon that is great food.
