Hot off the press…………..we’ve been taken over, but not by Mike Ashley! SISU have sold 85% share to local businessman and the club will be debt free, also making a late bid for the Arena. It’s never fugging boring being a CCFC fan, is it?
Would normally say yes but the game is over Christmas, I will be away at Poole so buggered if I'm driving an extra 70 miles each way to see us get stuffed.
Congrats Robbie!!! Just need to get the stadium now to keep away from Ashley!! But you'll be the key tenant I guess and having a contract you'll be able to manage the situation.
I can. Lol!!! 21st December to 3rd January. Nothing personal Robbie. Just takes bloody ages to get through Dorset. 1 of only 3 counties in England with no motorway.
Well, Ashley now owns the CBS and it sounds like he’s gonna be after the Club too! We never have time to be bored over here hahaha
Rob Edwards is taking over at Luton. Don’t tell me that he would not have been a better choice than Hudson
There may be trouble ahead...... "Bristol" https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63669051#:~:text=Top Scorers-,Bristol,-City: Club reports But while there's Lansdowne and Pearson and no cup romance....
Brizzo - I'm not sure exactly where we all are with the current FFP rules, but I think they like a number of other clubs will be grateful for the EFL apparently suspending the 3 year £39M max accounting "loss" because of the covid disruptions. Last year they lost £38M - that's a £66M 2 year loss with this years' figures and would easily have fallen foul of sustainability rules even after offsetting justifiable "covid" losses. They'll still have to go some this current accounting year to avoid some sort of sanction in the future. They'd ideally need to make a profit this year and they've got no one like £20M Adam Webster of 3 years back to sell to bring in substantial cash. Young Alex Scott would probably bring them in the most, but nothing like that.
Agreed. Think they have a couple of youngsters that may fetch a half decent price. Earlier this year Semenyo was looking good and may have fetched a good price but since his injury he's not been quite the same. Unless I'm mistaken, our financial issues look relatively minor in comparison
Evenjifvthe cihod -38 million is all forgiven.....what was the P&L for the year before? And not all that 38 loss is covid related. It only has to bec11 to breach?!
This is why we don't want to go down. Current top 8 of League One - some decent sized clubs in there and only 3 are going to make it..... please log in to view this image
