    In a pub called the Feathers in Helmsley and there’s a group of mags supping and one says, I’ve stuck a £10 bet on today that Ronaldo and Messi will have signed for us by the end of the season, I nearly choked on my steak pie.

    My daughter and a number of other schools in the area have a tech day at SJP today. She loves her computer studies so I couldn’t stop her going. But it’s girls only. Which I found quite ironic considering the venue!!

    Now that they've been allowed to buy Newcastle there's nothing anyone can do to stop them ...

    ... it's like allowing one gatecrasher into your party, you've lost control and he'll open the back door to let more in.

    The Saudis pretend they don't own Newcastle so they can pretend other consortiums own other clubs. In reality it's the Saudi state and everyone knows it. The whole thing is clearly sportswashing and why would an investment group need that.
