It looks like Ronaldo has totally thrown his toys out of the pram and slagged the club of top to bottom on Piers Morgan's show on Talktv. Whatever has happened behind the scenes, slagging the club off that pays you in public should be frowned upon and I doubt he'll ever play for Man Utd again. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/2041...harebar_app&utm_campaign=sharebar_app_article
Haven’t saw the interview, but if he’s telling the truth it’s good to see big clubs took down a peg. They like things all one way.
Imagine expecting an employee to honour their contract whilst paying them HUGE sums of money What's the world come to eh?
Have to say that George Best did far worse when he was there and is roundly loved by the world!! That said, he’s an idiot. The greatest footballer to play the game in my life but has turned into a sideshow!!
£900k per week apparently or £46.8m a year or £89 per minute or £1:48 per second which ever way you look at it he’s got a ****ing nerve
How poor that someone who's had such a great career should go out and be remembered this way. I've no sympathy for the player, but also none for the club. Clubs are creating endless mercenaries, with zero loyalty, and making them so wealthy they can behave as they wish. Just another example of how football is selling its soul by the pound.
There is no real way of preventing this though. The amount of revenue the players at the top bring in they are always going to get paid massive amounts. And if any governing body attempted to put a pay cap in place that would just quickly backfire
