I looked at the stats on this match earlier and was amused to see that Gillingham had one shot on goal but one on target and scored. The possession stats were 81% Brentford and 19% Gillingham. Corners at the time were 16 Brentford and 1 Gillingham. The only thing Gillingham were winning on was foul count. I looked again just as the match ended at 1 - 1 so stayed watching for the pen shootout. Somehow it was no shock that Gillingham won it. However, somebody will look at this game at some point in the furture and wonder what decended from where to create a Gillingham victory. WELL DONE GILLS.......
As soon as the first ball was 'Wolves', I immediately told Mrs A that ball No.6 was going to be picked next - before the bloke from Homes under the hammer dipped his hand into the clear glass bowl !! Gills fans had better take an umbrella - it will be raining (( off and on the pitch. ))
Why oh why do we never get a plum draw? Poxy Wolves. FFS. Thank god Sheffield Wednesday were already out else we’d have inevitably been drawn against them.
I feel sorry for Lincoln.. I wouldn't mind betting that, as Gills are the lowest ranked team, the tie will be on the 2nd date of the ties (played last) - on TV..... I actually don't know how much £££ that will be worth - or the ratio of the 'gate' money.....anyone any idea ?
45% Is shared each for both clubs. So hopefully be around 30000. Price probably £20 an adult. . Good payday before January window We won't be on tv though
