Didn’t he announce he would likely run again today? I’m guessing that’s why Pompey said 4 more years.
Brexit-backing Next boss says UK needs more overseas workers As usual, the Remainer wing of the BBC failing to consider the bleeding obvious in their desperation to come up with an anti-Brexit narrative. Lord Wolfson is pro-Brexit and he is the CEO of Next. There is a reported shortage in available people to fill vacancies in all sectors, not just retail. Discount supermarkets Aldi and Lidl are both paying more than £10 an hour to workers. Next are paying £9.50 an hour or less to workers, using minimum wage restrictions for under 18s to hire young staff as cheaply as possible. So why are Next struggling to recruit staff and looking to recruit foreigners? Hmmm...
Joe Biden will do nothing to help most of the world economy as he has crazed Leftie spending policies in mind that will ramp up US debt to pander to the eco-zealots. He hates Britain and really sees the EU as just France and Germany. With his Presidency starting to look like a lame duck without control of Congress to do anything, to give his Presidency any meaning he continues to butt in on ‘international’ matters like the N.I. Protocol that are none of his business. At some point in the not too distant future, there will have to be a correction. The last time this was done was over 30 years ago. Since many of the world’s major commodities are traded in US dollars, the global import infrastructure is being inflated to the detriment of even the major trading powers like Germany, Japan and South Korea as well as developing nations that borrow mostly in US dollars. Once the economically illiterate global public start reading that America is making them suffer, Biden’s Woke America will quickly start losing friends.
Over the decades we have given hundreds of millions in aid to Pakistan. Currently Pakistan has a nuclear weapons programme, a space programme and thousands of coal mines. Since 1970, the population of Pakistan has trebled. Back in 1947 when Pakistan was founded, a third of the land was covered by trees. They have cut down most of the trees in the intervening 75 years so that now only one twentieth of the land is covered in trees. Just why should we be paying “reparations” to a country that brought devastating flooding upon itself?
