That Regan Slater, he's similar to Wayne Rooney, but better.

It would be Figgy for me. I don’t think Greaves has been anywhere near as bad at centre half as many have made out. Figgy is the biggest problem at the back and playing the ball is clearly so alien to him. Would have Jones and Greaves centre halves.

We could go to a back 5 after the WC once Fleming is up to speed. The main reason it didn’t work earlier in the season was because we had absolutely nobody capable of really playing as a wing back on either side, so it was daft to force the system on a bunch of players that were far better suited to playing a back 4 with attacking wingers. Now we are shorter of options for the wings but have 2 fit and capable wing backs, it probably makes more sense to play 5 at the back at the minute, specially if we’re going to be playing it out.

When longman first came back after injury he struggled as did fleming last week. But at the moment i think he is doing a great job for us, even accepting he could be better in front of goal. I don't get why so few will acknowledge the good work he is putting in.

I couldn't agree more, most players struggle at first when they come back from injury, partly lack of match practice and partly mental being a bit tentative at first in case they re-injure themselves. Longman was involved in all 3 goals on Wednesday and was an important part of the team.

They're debating on Twatter whether the mystery coach could be Rooney because he was at our game against Cardiff.
    Can't see that happening. :emoticon-0145-shake

I thought his first game back when he came on at Ht he looked good but it caught up with him in his first full game back, maybe Rosenoir’s opinion or more of a nice way of saying your dropped. He was only sub at Cardiff as well but they didn’t look big up front. Still think he’s a good fullback and will be back soon however at the same time we are not a big side so can understand regarding height needed for set pieces against ect.

He would be well in demand for a manager’s position in England. He’s not having the best time of it in the USA, DC United finished in last place and only won 2 games under Rooney. New season starts in January but hopes aren’t high for them. Think he was just there to watch his mate.
