The hell is that line up?

I've defended Conte to the hilt on here but no Spence, no Tanganga and no Gil when the chance presents itself is just baffling.

I think we all need to accept that Spence and Gil will be making their debut starts for us at their testimonials.

Nobody has mentioned that Richarlison is on the bench. Good to see him back.

It is good to see him back. It is also good to see Skipp start and Royal not.

    Good ebening, people.

    The Conte campaign to :

    1. play scaredy cat ball

    2. run Hojbjerg into the ground

    3. subject several of us to serious WUMmery

    continues unabated.

    As in :

testament to the restraint of some in the squad
that they have not beaten Conte to a pulp.

Could well have been a penalty with VAR.

After Sunday, I don't think that sentiment holds much water...

You could easily be forgiven for not knowing which team was in 4th and which team was rooted to the bottom of the table based on these first 17 mins.

For them...looked like a handball by Sessegnon for me.

They've been unlucky and have put a lot of pressure on us ... a decent save from Forster, hit the post and 4 or 5 corners

20 minutes and we've created absolutely nothing.
Not exactly surprising with this wonky lineup, admittedly.

I was explaining to my kids earlier that this type of game will present an opportunity for our youngsters and fringe players. I can’t believe this line up.

Free header for Dier. Really should keep that down.

Still baffled why he didn't get a game or two after Lloris picked up a muscle injury on international duty

Probably gonna jinx the poor guy now and he’ll hit a spectacular own goal but for a CB, I really enjoy watching Lenglet play. I get Vertonghen vibes from him in terms of ball playing ability. Would very much like to bring him in permanently.

Been a rare bright spark in what’s been a typically boring half by us.
