Holy ****. I was just reading a bit on Man City's finances. Now, remember all the commercial blockers being put in place on Newcastle? Well Man City have a commercial agreement in place with - among other weird companies - 8XBet. This company has 44 followers on Twitter and one employee on LinkedIn. Yet it's in a multi-million pound agreement with Man C. To put this into perspective, our arrangement with Fun88 - who have 87.5k followers and are well established across Asia - is worth around a quarter of the money. Man C are putting up all kinds of news about 'beating Man U in commercial revenue' but if you take a cursory glance under the covers it's all utter ****ing bollocks. Obviously we may well stand to benefit in the same way, but I just find the hypocrisy astonishing.
It's the same with Barca selling their media company for multi-millions. Look up the company who supposedly paid that - they look totally tin-pot. Where did that money come from? And who's to say Barca's media was actually worth that amount? The authorities play their part by pretending to demand proof, then clearly take a back hander and it's job done. Money talks.
