Great win, showed a good mentality to come back and a lot will have been learned. Also I disagree with those saying Cardiff where poor, I thought they seemed like a decent organised team, just lacked a bit of threat up top.

Some very good 5 a side passing and moving there from all most teams in this division can’t do it or cope with it
Few complained about a player making a mistake Most complained about players passing the ball around at the back and risking losing the ball Watch teams who know how to play out from the back. They cross the half way line quickly while retaining possession.
Playing out from the back requires zero nerves and Baxter doesn't have that in his cabinet...he looked like a fish out of water all night..just completely outside his comfort zone, this style
Playing out from the back isn’t the problem, it’s the lack of tempo and passing options that was the issue. That will hopefully improve especially with the World Cup break. UP THE ****ING TIGERS GET IN
Good win, we was nearly masters of our own downfall though: not convinced our defenders are ball playing defenders. That first goal was coming for ages, we’ve been **** at marking and basic defending since Adam ****ed Eve (for the second goal). A win and 3 points Is good for confidence and hopefully we’ll follow it up on Saturday
Well well well, what half of mixed emotions, credit to them for coming back after starting the half sloppily.
Great result.... but a much better result in terms of defensive confidence would have had a '0' in it.... we cannot keep gifting teams and as I said on another day, there wouldn't have been a road back..
Despite the second half blip (largely self inflicted), I enjoyed the game. Some very positive signs of improvement , lovely inter play and effort. We deserved to win and can only improve further as the players get used to the new system. Well done City.
