I've never seen anyone get a straight red for dissent, but it's academic in this case, as it's not what he was sent off for.
Rosie is still waiting to see the referees report and will only appeal against the card if it's a three match ban and the club don't think there's any chance of the appeal adding an extra game if unsuccessful.
Is he banned EDIT TOMORROW NOT TONIGHT or is he still available if the refs report hasn't been released yet?
He was sent off for his reaction to being elbowed in the face, so dissent which should be a 2 match ban, which is why it was appealed and reduced to what it should always have been.
Playing from the back is misunderstood. The actual theory is to try to pass forward, if you cant pass forward then pass sideways, if you cant pass sideways then pass back. City's theory seems to have got it the wrong way round: Try to pass back, if you can't pass back then pass sideways, if you can't pass sideways then kick it anywhere.
by all means hoof it when we need to do Baxter hoofed it a lot after him and the defenders passed it around in the penalty area pointlessly
Fair enough, just saw the statement saying he had been sent off for reacting angrily to match officials, didn’t make any mention of pushing the other player over. That shove is in no way worthy of a red card or violent conduct charge though so the likelihood is the violent conduct charge got appealed but he still got the deserved 2 game ban for dissent?
