I sometimes forget that John Barnes and Ian Rush both played for us as well…jobs for the boys when. KD was in charge! **** me those were some dark days!
Mike the ginger bird watcher, currently a pizza delivery man apparently... I assume they end up as a mangled mess of cardboard and cheese by the time you get them, if he's anything like with pizza boxes like he was with holding on to the ball.
Thing with Hooper though was he was actually quite decent in his first few games, then he faced Sir Les playing for QPR and it all just unravelled from there
What’s “fair” got to do with it? Damn it man, this is a football forum. I mean Chippy doesn’t know the meaning of the word “fair” and he’s a Mod on here… Mind you, TBF, Chippy doesn’t know the meaning of many words anyway….
Enjoyed reading the thread Im sure Howe was criticised for his defensive structure and decisions at Bournemouth as well, maybe more towards the end Historically I've only ever know us to be pretty pants at defending, bar rafa I suppose, so it's a really joyous thing tbh. I mean we really only need to sprinkle some talent here and there... and we have a recruitment policy based on finding players who are talented but importantly have the right attitude..unlimited funds to buy them..and a wonderful team spirit, hell club spirit to integrate them into I can't think actually think of a misstep we have taken, maybe other than overpaying for Wood, but even that worked out and was necessary So yeah absolutely ****in glorious. Still maintain we will win a cup within 2 - 3 years Im trying to absorb as much of this time as I can before we become one of the big boys, it's like when you have a great night out planned and you are massively looking forward to it.. These are the few days prior where you are bantering with the lads over social media and generaly strutting around knowing Friday night you will be smashed and dancing and laughing and all that good life stuff Except our Friday night is gonna last for ****in years and years and years ****in class
Newcastle United will listen to offers for English centre-back Jamaal Lascelles, 28. (Football Insider) We'll "listen to offers"? Lol, we'll snap their feckin hands off if any offers come in! Thanks Jamaal, now time to begone.
