They have but Sunderland are entitled, and actually have a duty, to ensure the safety of their supporters.

I really hope the police do more than their usual 'standing and watching' tomorrow ...

... it's like goalkeepers wasting time, take action as soon as it happens, not in the 95th minute ffs!

Every copper wears a bodycam, plus they have put better cctv up there. I don't know how nee ****er gets lifted for it tbh. There's never any follow up stories about bannings or fines or anything.

Cracking thread as always RTB. Thanks. Well after a wet and windy Wednesday night win when any sort of football was difficult I fancy us for another win. Wednesday was difficult but the 2 pieces of real quality we scored from. Clarke straight back in and after Pritchard breaking his duck I fancy he may score a set piece free kick tomorrow. No I haven't been drinking yet. Keep the faith lads and lasses. :1980_boogie_down:

Take a bow RTB <applause>, not only can you set up a great thread, but also pick a team that will do me. Our season is building nicely, with every game bringing fresh challenges, and a sprinkling of memorable highlights. I am hoping for more of the same tomorrow to keep us all happy. OaU

Great thread RTB. You always set the scene for the game with your threads! Top man! Feeling confident for a home win tomorrow and also a good performance in front of our fans. On a side note I found myself thinking back to the old BBC 606 site and remembering the poster Cardiff City Blue who always used to come on our board and give a load of grief!!!! Remember him lads?

6-0. I will stick with my "sooner or later" we will hammer somebody. I think we have all the players busting a gut to get on that score sheet now. The decision making is getting better and the intricate 1-2s n lay offs are starting to get there as the players form an understanding of each others movements.
    Cheers RTB

We’re probably looking at about 36K attendance tomorrow. I can’t see Cardiff bringing many, at all…
