Good luck to him, I think this is a really good appointment.
Sort out our goal scoring and defence, obviously. And our midfield, and apparently, according to some on here, our goalkeepers too.
    Should piss it.

Agreed ..but we are in deep trouble right now.

After huge changes both on and off the pitch this season was probably always about consolidation … that’s quickly changed into survival.

The wholesale changes in the summer were incredibly naive. Everyone knew the squad we had wasn't what we needed to achieve the goals the new owner has set, however those at the top should have also appreciated those goals wouldn't be reached in their first season either. They should have made a couple of strategic signings to strength the core of the squad we already had and built from their the following summer.

    Clusterfuck of mammoth proportions.

I'd say the biggest mistake was Shota. He came in knowing nothing about the championship.

We have time to sort it out and avoid relegation, but that's about it.

    Tin hats on everyone.

The only thing ‘everyone’ knew back in August where the fixtures pal.

Not sure Dawson could keep us up. I love that he's staying but I think it takes more than he can offer to manage at this level.

Rosenior is on his way to the very top I believe and I'm really excited that he's here. Great appointment IMO

I'm sure I remember reading that Martin O'Neill would only meet up with the team either day before or sometimes actually match day nd left everything else to his coaching team. He'd even pick the team based on their feedback on training.
Where other managers get involved in the day to day training.

David Wagner knew nothing about the Championship, brought in 13 players and got Huddersfield promoted in his first season. Daniel Farke knew nothing about the Championship and got Norwich promoted in his second season.

Possibly not, we'll never know, but any new coach coming in should come with a better and bigger aim then keeping us up, if that's the aim, why not just stick with the allams and a much much much smaller wage bill

At this moment in time and the way we have been losing week after week exception ( Rotherham and Blackpool) with defeat at home game after game then this season is probably all about staying up, it maybe wasn’t at the beginning of the season but for me staying up is an achievement. Obviously the higher we end up the better and I would love to see us move right up that league but with the poor start we have had and especially the home form it’s been abysmal.

Because Daws isn’t going to do that on present evidence. It’s all well and good saying it’s too soon, but if they’re taking the approach of building slowly then it’s not too soon at all. If we don’t take the risk then someone else will and by that point “too soon” becomes “too late”
