please log in to view this image Sunday 6th November 4.30pm Premier League Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Son joins our growing injury list. Too early for any possible returns, unfortunately. Neither side has any suspensions. Lineups for each side's last league game: Spurs: Lloris; Sanchez, Lenglet, Davies; Emerson, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Bissouma, Sessegnon; Kane, Son. Subs: Forster, Doherty, Spence, Tanganga, Dier, Bentancur, Perisic, Gil, Moura. League form: LWWLLW. Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson; Elliott, Fabinho, Thiago; Firminho; Salah, Nunez. Subs: Kelleher, Konate, Phillips, Tsimikas, Henderson, Jones, Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Carvalho. League form: DLWWLL. Ref: Andy Madley. VAR: Darren England. TV: Sky Sports. How would you like to line up for this one?
All Liverpool gotta do is stick two or three defenders on Kane and they’re guaranteed to be keeping a clean sheet, lol. Hugo Dier, Lenglet, Davies Spence, Hojbjerg, Bissouma, Bentancur, Perisic Kane, Gil That’s what I’d like but I don’t see it happening. Likely 343 with Emerson, Sessegnon and Lucas all starting, with Perisic moved into the three.
That KO time means the USA broadcasters expect a big audience. "How would you like to line up for this one?" I have mixed feelings on this. In terms of the "season compass" , there are 2 pts up for grabs and 1 pt to be lost. Given that the Poool have been quite fragile this PL season I would be open to a full Audere est facere starting XI. However I am not confident Spurs would not get spanked attempting to do so (more so given the dogma mode Conte has shown of late with his team sheets) .
I can guarantee you that there's no Fergie nonsense going on. There is a vague pattern to when I post these. Sort of.
Not really: what they need to do is press our midfield and Kane becomes a decoration in the final third This is why Pre Season II is so important, as we have a month to get the likes of Bissouma (and likely Skipp) up to speed as not only will they be necessary if Denmark or Uruguay reach the knockout stages, but we'd need another dimension in our play anyway and Bissouma being a press-breaking box-to-box midfielder will go a long way towards that
Huge news if true. I doubt he'll be fit enough to start but having him back for the last few games is massive.
Excellent news. If he cannot start, hard to see what the team will be Lloris Sanchez/Tanganga Dier Lenglet Emerson/Doherty Hojbjerg Bentacur Davies Perisic Kane Sessegnon or Lloris Sanchez/Tanganga Dier Lenglet/Davies Emerson/Doherty Bissouma Hojbjerg Bentacur Sessegnon Perisic Kane neither fill me with optimism. Am I forgetting an option?
Moura, but he's playing through the pain with an injury. Gil? Spence? If Moura's out and Kulusevski's not fit enough to start, then I'd put Gil in. Push Perisic up ahead of Sessegnon and stick Ringo on the other wing. The Croatian's experience could help his wingback and opposite winger, too.
I did forget Moura! I didn't include Spence or Gil as it looks like Conte doesn't fancy them yet, but I agree they would be options if it was my decision. Was trying to second guess Conte.
“The problem with Lucas Moura is having different faces for his pain. Today it was really bad and they said he was really worried for this. I asked him to try to be available.“ I mean maybe you could just play Gil, who’s looked more impressive and has the potential to be a really good player… oh he’s not carrying any injuries that can be aggravated by further playing either.
By complete coincidence, Bolsonaro is maybe thinking about considering the possibility of perhaps conceding the election...
A brave manager IMHO would deem Kulu to be out until after WC 2022 (even though the Poool are up next) .
Tomorrow needs to be the game that stops the rot. Pool are there for the taking. If Spurs don’t get a result tomorrow then it speaks volumes about the mentality.
