They are though... worryingly, we were just significantly worse.

Ref was a **** but we was still poor.

In the relegation slots if games in hand are won.

Not optimistic for a manager with no experience but let's see what happens.

We can’t keep blaming the midfield for a defence that has conceded so many sloppy goals. Rosey has got one hell of a job on sorting this defensive **** show out. The midfield, the ref etc etc everyone’s to blame but the defence. Wow what a depressing ****ing evening again.

If he doesn't give that then they don't score, but I agree we still need to defend it.

I still say if we got the breaks they got at key times then we win that as handsomely (scoreline wise) as they did.

That was poor, usual issues at the back. We can’t deal with crosses, we could sign a new back 4 in janurary and no one could have a complaint.

we should drop the “tigers” nickname and replace it with “crabs” all we do is go sideways then back then sideways again.
We have no idea and no concvictiin when we go forward, we never break at speed.
Docherty shouldn’t be on the right, he will run all day but he’s got no pace or skill.
We’ve had 2 shots on target in 2 home games, this was a terry problem aswell, which proves we’ve signed 16 players and we are no better.
I hope one of Rosie’s backroom staff is a miracle worker because this is going to take some turning around

Sorry McO but tonights performance was not defendable. Sure we didn't get the rub of the green but we were just awful right across the pitch. Bereft of creativity (2 shots on target according to BBC), shocking in defense, slow on the ball and just lacking in basic football nowse. Tonight was really bad.

Think he should have started Pelkas. But predictions of league 1 are premature.

Spot on, absolutely bizarre selection. Blackburn exposed Woods and Seri as a partnership, sticks with it. He also persisted with Doc and Slater as our wide advanced players which is baffling considering he started Oscar and was never going to get any service in this set up. Shocker

    Wrong team totally -
Ref was not to blame nor Baxter it’s shocking poor defenders and full backs who can attack but cannot defend . Fleming has had his adrenaline game now it’s the hard slog to get match sharp - he wasn’t tonight
Daws selection and tactics were wrong we’ve suddenly got obsessed with possession for possessions sake , like Villa were under Gerard - we get beat by teams who have more dynamism and to be honest better touch and ball control than half of our team . And that old chestnut lack of height , strength and pace !!

Probably a bit harsh on Longman to bench him instead of giving him a nominal wide spot with freedom to drift inside, when the decision had been made to start Oscar as striker - especially as Pelkas was benched also. But then neither Slater or Doc really deserve dropping either.

80% of our issues are of midfield balance.

We need a proper physical defensive midfielder who will bite and also drop in to the back 4 when there's a man who's gone forward. Also to protect whichever of the other two classy midgets (or unfit bastards) which gets picked alongside.

Our defending is diabolical. Rosenior has got his work cut out to stop us conceding soft goals at the rate we are doing.

The defence means we've got an uphill battle before the game begins.

Apparently the discussions with Rosy and Acun tonight were if Daws was going to stay as first team coach or first team coach driver. Based on the strategy tonight and his team selection get a PSV licence

I agree about the L1 predictions but I think there's more wrong than starting Pelkas would have made right.
