Re meslier man of the match. He did great, made some good blocks getting his angles right - but there were no worldy saves. Most were good saves from half chances that you would expect him to make. The point is people seem to be implying this means it was a lucky win. The vast majority of those saves were in the last 20 minutes when we were undeniably leggy. For the first 70 mins we were good value. Liverpool’s last loss at home March 2021. VVD unbeaten at home until last night. I’m not interested in Jesse in or Jesse out. Justifying everyone’s positions on him. We just won at anfield FFS and it wasn’t a fluke. Can’t people enjoy the moment? Bournemouth is another day.

Said to him over a pint midweek, I think Marsch need 4 points from the next 3 games and he saves his job, which means at least a point at one of them if we can beat Bournemouth.
