I’m on holiday so probably not going to see this one which is a good thing. I am contemplating finding a bar with sky sports but might go for a meal instead to purposely avoid, what do we think? Think we’re getting hammered with the injuries and just how sloppy we’ve been. Once we concede 1 I think we’re doomed. Going to say 4-0.
In his defence maybe Orta was instructed by the 49ers to scout only American managers/coaches and Marsch was the best of a very bad lot
Liverpool will commit players forward. That gives us the space to attack. My main concern is the defensive brain farts but other than that I'm pretty confident we can get something here.
It's OK, Llorente will be playing on his side due to Coopers absence. Diego will provide the pace and precision needed to nullify that wing.
No reason why we can't beat this lot, they are nowhere near the team they were. Keep the faith lads. MOT.
Two years on from our first game back in the EPL, these were the teams. We have a 2 or three players that should be better due to two experience in the league, a few have been replaced with better and a couple are probably now past their sell by date. We have alternatives for the older ones though but the ones that I think we miss most are a Stuart Dallas type, he never gave up, nothing was a lost cause but he is unlikely to be that player again, I hope I'm wrong..The player we miss most though is, in my opinion, is Pablo. The core of the team is recognisable from the team that surprised a few on that opening day but we have no creative spark or a player that gives the impression that he has just that little bit more time than anybody else to decide what he is going to do next. I'm hoping we can regain some of the fight we had in that first game back but to be honest I'm not looking forward to checking the score on Sunday morning.
Good afternoon everyone Now What day is it? oh yes------------------------------------------OH NO --------------------
I fear that this narrative will be in use on BBC website later tonight with a few tweaks..... Whether by accident or design, Leicester City are simply camped in their own half with Manchester City passing it around in front of them. Leicester City have barely crossed into City's half yet and the home fans are very quiet, as if waiting for the inevitable.
Liverpool have already drawn 2 home games this season so we should at least retain some hope. Also they currently sit 8th in the League for a reason and we're due a bit of luck. Cue early red card for Cooper and a proper thrashing.
