love the way you are all discussing who could be next/better than truss...i can tell you none will be 'better', the next one will lie as much as the previous lot, who lied as much as those that they themselves took over from.

don't you get it yet?... they can do as they wish, they can make as much as they possibly can while they hold office, they can offer good contracts to family members or the companies they are members of, they can take whatever they like away from the people and they can do all this because not one will be held accountable for their actions, all they will do is leave the post and be happy with their pension/new job in europe.

the west need a massive shake up, we simply keep electing whichever looks less likely to screw up between two major parties but we know they will screw up...but why worry, next election we can elect the other lot if they look less likely, we need more options and we need them to be held accountable for their actions and we need to know where all the contracts are offered, too many are benefitting financially for doing next to feck all while the majority lose out.

So it seems there are multiple versions if Noreen Doris's about.

This particular cult is hoping to restore Bonko back to his throne.

    Fun days ahead..

Not meltdowns tbh, he was entertaining then and would be now ...

... he's just not good at the job and wouldn't last.

But he won't be back, the people who kicked him out won't want him in power taking revenge.

It's like when people want Henderson back at Sunderland, nice notion ... won't happen.

Don't disagree with you on points 3 and 4.

On point 1 there are a few hard left Labour supporters on here who dispised him and I believe they would have a 'melt down'...its plain to see on here from their previous posts.

On point 2. Do you think that the leader of the opposition would be better fit for governing the country rather than any potential new Tory leader? (I' m aware that's away from the Johnson debate)

Just as there are Trumpettes there are Bonkoites.

If the tories are mad enough to install Bonko... the various parties of the opposition will love it.

I'm not even sure it's legal to appoint a recently convicted criminal.

As funny as it would be, Johnson coming back is probably a non-starter. He's still under investigation isn't he?

If Bonko does come back he has vowed to take revenge on the Not606 Sunderland forum for causing him to lose his job the last time. New blasphemy laws will be enacted forbidding 2nd tier football fan forums off topic threads from questioning anything Bonko does or says. It will also be compulsory for the same forums to have a thread castigating Jeremy Corbyn, Diane Abbott, Tony Blair and Cherie Blair <laugh>

He was stabbed in the back by some of his own cabinet, some stabbed him in the front tbh. That was because he wasn't good at his job and because he's a proven liar who ran Downing Street like a big boys club. They won't want him back settling scores, people are just lapping up media hyperbole.

It's amazing how little people need to decide who they believe has the necessary skill, judgment and intelligence to guide the country through an incredibly difficult period. Apparently a few minutes at the despatch box, denying Truss was hiding under her desk, is enough for people to decide Penny Mourdant would make a great leader.

That's how degraded politics has become tbh ...

... people take longer to decide who they want to win 'Bake Off' than who should be running the country.
