I just stand there trying to catch them in my head torch, its quite sad so many people will never see them, just ghosts sailing over us
One flew in to the side of our house so took it to the taxidermist, when I went to collect it he says he’d made such a bad job oh it’s eyes ( looked like Amanda Stavely ) he didn’t charge me. Been in the family now 47 years. He’s known as Benny the boss eyed owl.
It might have been boss eyed in real life hence why it flew into the side of your house. You got a bargain
Found this little fella clearing out the garage. He was about two foot long, really angry and hissed at me. Anyone know what it is.
Obviously a snake, but I thought we only got grass snakes or adders, just looked it up, be careful Most adders have distinctive black or dark brown zig-zag markings on their backs, said Savitzky. Some, however, are pure black (hence the term, "black adder"). Females are generally redder and browner than males, which tend to have more gray, black and white coloring. Females are also larger.
