ACoN formation porn

I know it's early but let's have a look at what we can do in the January / February time. Assume that we have no injuries or suspensions and that we have the same squad (picking players like Maiga etc is pure guesswork).

I think by January Raylor will have been dislodged by Santon. This will mean it's not a problem for Jonas to play on the right wing. I also happen to think he's actually better on the right wing. Guthrie has done enough to put himself as first choice backup in centre mid IMO.
Still looks fairly strong, possibilities of Maiga etc to bolster the main concern in that line up which would be attack. Can see us getting by alright to be honest, a lot of other teams will struggle much more.

 

If we keep up the current form we will only need to take Ba and Tiote out of the team, so I would say:

Impossible to predict though, we could have any number of injuries and/or suspensions, or a player like Abeid or Gosling could randomly break through and cement a place in the side.

 

I would personally like to see Vuckic given alot more of a chance during ACoN, Guthrie should come in, but Vuckic getting last 30 mins or so!

 

Games Ba and Tiote will definitely miss :

Game they could miss depending on how well Ivory Coast and Senegal do :
