It's a right arse of a PMQs this. Stop giving her the opportunity to say the same thing over and over again.
Starmer is useless isn't he as an opposition leader. We have an economic crisis in the Uk due to conditions such as Brexit and restrictions over the last 2 1/2 years. His party voted for a vote on Brexit and also voted through the WA without proposing an alternative. He also voted for all the restrictions without asking/challenging the Govt/public bodies about any impact assessments. He could have made himself effective and credible. He chose to be a facilitator of the Govt policies. Maybe he can be a decent PM, but as the opposition - he has been useless.
The opposition whether it be labour, lib dim wits or those scotish loon party all ask the same mundane questions over and over again looking for an answer they wont get.
No one ever gets an answer during these sessions, no matter which party it is ... .... that's why it's not called PMQ&A.
Just Googled, the daily getsmuchworse and the daily heil... It doesn't much matter what the boring but clever Starmer says and does... These two tory papers absolutely slaughter her.. Haven't checked torygraph yet. I suppose the tories 1922 committee has first to change its rule
I keep wondering if they're allowing Truss to keep going so she absorbs all the blame and the new PM looks like they're competant even if they can only speak without looking vacant behind the eyes.
Taxi for Stein Jason Stein, a senior special advisor to the PM, is to face a formal investigation by the Proprietary and Ethics Team in Whitehall. He'd said "The PM laughed out loud at the suggestion of Javid for Chancellor. She has sat in the cabinet with Javid for ten years and she knows who is good and who is ****". And a few other tasty words that cannot be printed.
She's had a dig in her resignation letter... Usual protocol is to say how lovely everyone is...in her resignation letter, she says the government needs to rely on people "accepting responsibility for their mistakes". Pretending we haven't made mistakes "and hoping that things will magically come right is not serious politics".
It's just open warfare now ... ... all usual protocol has been abandoned and they're getting out all their grudges
It's like transfer deadline day, the yellow ticker is going crazy Liz will definitely be hiding under her desk now.
