See my comment above - he's only given one free kick for a foul on Salah in the last four games he's refereed us v city.
They may be unknown to us but every ref has to declare their supportership to their Association who are obligated to make sure they aren't given games of 'their' club or conflict of interest like Newcastle supporting Oliver should never be given a Sunderland game. It doesn't, of course, legislate for a refs biases.

Here’s the answer - and link to the article. What it shows is that Grealish gets a free kick roughly every 20 minutes whereas for Salah it’s roughly every 120 minutes. Was reading that earlier. Essentially Salah andonky Salah is not getting free kicks. The City game showed that bias perfectly.
That graph is for 19/20 but the graph for 20/21 is exactly the same. Interestingly, Jota on that graph was at Wolves and won a lot of free kicks. Guess what happened to his fouls won when he moved to Liverpool. You can't argue with the facts.

Just been reading what the sanctions are likely to be for breaking rule E3 and it says that " there are no set sanctions for media comments however ...financial penalties are the most usual form of sanction".
Perhaps they decided not to charge him specifically for the card and have fallen back on things he said afterwards. Rule E3 only seems to cover media comments, so I don't really understand it - but it's the FA, who knows what goes on in their tiny minds?
