No sadly not. They have hit form whilst we lose ours. Mind you everything at Luton are settled and united unlike with us. Their fans probably aren't ripping into each other for having different opinions for example. Sad thing is some of our fans would actually enjoy us losing to them...
Blackpool leading 3-2 at Sheff Utd - down to nine men and Sheff Utd missed an 89th minute penalty. Perhaps our result last week wasn't that bad...
Very unprofessional from the second one to get sent off. 3-2 up, away from home to league leaders, you get sent off for dissent and they equalise.
Sounds familiar! From BBC: “Leeds 0-0 Arsenal Referee Chris Kavanagh raced over to his assistant and the fourth official to discuss what their next steps are. Leeds were waiting to take a throw-in but have been told to stand down. The supporters in the ground don't understand what's going on. Some of the players have started having a kickabout to stay warm”
I think someone may be partially filling up the holes as a joke - it seems odd that the goalposts should grow in length when in storage...
The strange thing about inflation is that it causes deflation for everyone except those who are to blame for it.
The issue of dissent and verbal abuse towards refs has come up again . Could refs can be braver in booking and sending players off for dissent ? Had a player done what Klopp would they have been sent off for example ?
The refs would only be making a rod for their own backs by not doing it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who hates the constant displays of dissent by groups of players - it's totally off-putting and spoils watching a game. I've never seen any stats on it, but my impression is that at least 95 times out of 100 of those dissenting are in the wrong anyway. It's fair enough for a captain to question a decision, but without gesticulating/shouting angrily - the rest of the players should just butt out and move away. There's the issue of footballers being role models too. As a teacher, all too often I had to deal with similar attitudes in the playground - all down to kids copying the actions of their heroes. It's bad enough that they copy that - god forbid that they start copying the likes of Mason Greenwood.
