Couldn’t see as bloke to my right walked past.

Apparently it was Greaves..he’s been lucky this season.

I thought we played alright in the first. We missed a couple of chances.

Second half we where poor. No energy or pace.

Totally agree. We need a manager ASAP. I don’t want Dawson doing the job, as it would jeopardise his long term future at the club. He needs to go back to coaching the first team. Continue learning.

Do you know like the Dandy & the Beano.
Dennis the Menace and Desperate Dan have speech bubbles & thought bubbles.
I watched our team today, and it looked like they all had 'thought bubbles' and the words in the 'thought bubbles' were, 'I don't know what I'm supposed to do'.

I thought Dawson was brave today with the lineup, TBH, it’s the one I wanted to see, except for Seri, but Greaves has proved he’s not quick enough at LB as some said when I suggested it, so at least now we know for sure.
We had 2 chances in the match, Doc’s shot early on & the save from the corner, outside of that we never threatened.
We need someone who can sort these players out, I just think no one of any decent level is interested.
I think Acun will try to sell the club when we’re relegated & he’ll piss off back to Turkey.
If he stays it’ll take more than 3-4 windows to sort out this **** show of signings in the summer, unless there’s a chance we can flog off the high earners, which I highly doubt, but you never know with these teams in the Middle East.

I think he messed it up because he was so shocked to get the chance... he hasn't had one for 2 games...

Definitely Greaves. Big handful of shirt and pulled the guy down. It was a penalty all day long. Just a pity more refs don't give the ultimate sanction straight away. It might help to stop the cheating that goes on every week in the Championship.

Greaves needs to put on some muscle mass, he might be able to challenge with opposition players from set pieces

I get the abuse on Greaves, but it’s hardly as if the other two centre halves are tearing up trees. He seems to be a bit of a fall guy at the minute. I think he needs a few games out the firing line. People round me where abusing him telling me he’s useless going forward. He wasn’t playing left back he’s was the left side of the three. Can I also comment that the fella in front of him was also absolutely awful, actually I will go as far to say the whole 10 players round him where as bad.

He has lost his man a few times on corners, he was obviously overcompensating and got it wrong. The issue here is we need a manager good enough to not put him I this position, ie rest him a few games. A-bit like Longman the week before. It was obviously a penno, but the fact the ref could have stopped it before the corner was taken, and did so for them at least 3 times. I won’t start on the ref as he was absolutely horrendous, but that wasn’t the reason we lost.

he’s just out of form, he’s only 22, centre halves don’t play consistently well till their mid to late 20s, look at Delaney. He used to get dogs abuse for us, and how many years did he play in the Prem.

I don't. He's still a young player learning his trade in a tough league and a team lacking confidence. He's an easy target for the boo boys and girls

Agreed. He seemed to bulk up much more when he was at Crystal Palace

The penalty awarded against Greaves was unlucky. This type of thing happens in professional games up and down the country every week, mostly unpunished. There’s nothing in it.

We’ve lost 2-0 to arguably two of the poorest sides in the division back-to-back. I’m quite concerned about where we’re heading this season. Recruitment has been haphazard overall and we look very disjointed. The body language of the players looks depressing. Most look like they don’t want to be here. So much for Acun’s dream.

Its not unlucky when he does it constantly, if anything he's been lucky to get away with it for so long, he got away with a blatant one at Wigan I think it was. He's young and learning, but he's got to learn very quickly at how to become a threat in both boxes when balls come in

I didn't think it was unlucky TBH. Blatant foul right underneath the ref's eyes. Yes there is always jostling in the penalty area when a corner is coming in, but it never seems that our opponents are "Unlucky" in the way Greaves was today.

Both Jones and Greaves have been guilty of holding onto players at set pieces both this season and last season. Refs until today hadn't penalised it. After the pen was awarded against Greaves, the ref was breaking up the holding and blocking skirmishes before the set piece were taken.

I think Greaves gets the brunt of it because he's a good defender in general, it's just this aerial side of the game that he seems to struggle with more every week. His presumably big-money new deal also raises the bar further for him. Jones is bad at it too but he's not got quite the reputation as a good defender that Greaves has.

Have to say, Figuereido won a lot more in the air today. He's made some errors but I think he needs to be playing every week now to try and address this problem with defending balls in the box.
