By any stretch of the imagination, we should have been capable of winning that game yesterday. Credit to Coventry and Robins for taking it from us through organisation and disciplined tactics - compared to him, Hudson is a rookie. Not going to blow hot and cold over Huds and the squad from one game to the next, but we should be sitting in 8th spot right now just 4 points off the top.

There is no club in this division that's blowing the other teams away consistently and it's still wide open. We made Burnley look ordinary a few games back and now their on top because Sheff Utd, Norwich and QPR have had some disastrous results recently.

Not going to blag on about the Cov game yesterday - we lost it and that's that, but we can do much better than that performance. You could say it's just an average squad, but Robins won that game for Cov whereas Huds failed to win it for City. Just my opinion but the honeymoon could be over.

I said its a game we could lose.
Not sure why Hudson changed formation as two up front seemed to have been working.
Its a game we should have been winning. I fear we took our eye off the ball.

Not sour grapes but a more competent ref would have sent off Coventry’s goal scorer and let a perfectly good goal stand.

Swings & roundabouts - the ref could have let Blackburn score rather then blow for a pen.

Yesterday at the end of the day though 1 weak shot on target (aside from our ‘goal’) isn’t anywhere near good enough.

Sparks, a fair assessment<applause>..... Robins has our lads well drilled and I was thinking the worst when Gyokeres missed the first chance. We do keep going all game tho and even tho your lads came back at the start of the second half, went off the pace after the disallowed goal.
Bobby Madeley is an absolute t+sser of a ref and it was all about him. I was telling Scull, Bfb, Brizz and BT in the Cornwall before I expected you to win, so it was a surprise to come out on top.........................I'm not crowing FB, so no offence.
We will meet up again when you come up in Dec, Scull & co. Good luck for the run up to the WC, and hopefully we'll be off the bottom.

I don’t think there’s any doubt Coventry will be off the bottom once they’ve caught up on their games.

Surprised no club came in for the swede in pre season, or did they?

He’d be an asset to any team, a strong forward like him with good movement, pace and an eye for goal is worth their weight in gold; we used to have one - Moore but never replaced him.

    Never replaced Chopra Nin.

The bookies at Broadlands have the same regret.

I thought that as well. All I can remember is an issue where Harris got shoved and the Cov defender got booked. As well as Harris - for being pushed. <doh>

The was another handbags in the middle of the park but nothing serious.

The ref really was useless. Promoted to his own level of incompetence.

    Okay.

Was that during the bit of a melee in the middle of the park second half?
