nowt wrong with calling it as you see it, too many watch with red and white glasses on when it comes to some of their fave players who can do no wrong.

i think a few agreed that pritchard was not performing to his own high standards but iirc it took him a good few games to start to shine last season plus we have had to shuffle and try to find different ways to play which has probably 'disturbed' a few of the lads in the way they prefer to play but he showed today on more than just that one occasion that he has that quality that can change a game.

many players need to fit a system, how many top players (strikers seem prone to this) have moved clubs and been shadows of themselves?

They are bloody awful mind. All stop start stuff, keeping rhythm out of the game and hustling refs.

We won so I feel like I'm able to say, putting everything to one side, how awesome was it to see Charlie Wyke play like this and score like that in the Championship, after everything he's been through.

Seems a good lad. Always worked hard. I didnt think he was good enough. Long may he prove me wrong.

    And McClean!

I’m at the other end for Roberts’ goal stand it was offside so can’t tell. The yellow for Patterson was ridiculous. Their keeper and players wasted time for mist if the game. Patterson wasted time once and got a yellow. Twice now he’s been yellow carded early. It’s literally one rule for us and one against

I realise I might have missed something, but why did the keeper go down injured in the second half.

Awful mate. Absolutely awful. They had zero tactical play. Set pieces and long balls. Was exactly like watching 80’s Wimbledon

I agree. I can't honestly see what he is missing other than experience. It's just a matter of time. He has every natural attribute

10 per cent quicker in our passing and we would have murderd them. Not a clue what there shape, system or tactics were, they just seemed to launch it long. That wont work.

Isn't their manager supposed to be some modern forward looking tactical genius ...

ffs man, that was Sunday League standard that took me back to Bracken Park.

It's all about balance and context.

A poor game last week doesn't mean we're a bad side. A good game today doesn't mean that we haven't missed strikers.

A single performance doesn't define us. I've been critical at times of aspects of performances and emphatic with praise. On the whole, even when critical, I don't think we're a bad team and when I'm gushing over us, I don't think we're Champions League material (yet).

What's important is to be able to have an honest discourse about the club.
