Slightly concerning we got beat with a lineup as strong as that. That midfielder could potentially be our first choice in the Championship if Neil and Evan's pick up an injury or a suspension. Dajaku needs loaning out in Jan. He hasn't done anything of worth since the day he signed.
Not concerning really considering 5 of the leeds team would probably start for our first team and are consistently on the bench for leeds in the prem
I am not too concerned about this one result, but for some reason we seem to have gone backwards at this level. Even so I still rate a few of our lads including those playing last night, it will take time, and some decent coaching, to get them back to the pre Donald levels imo.
Is the Centre half Johnson highly rated? Looks a big lad for the age group, admittedly I’ve seen very little of the under 21s
The lad who scored the goal for them is an Italian international who is the youngest goalscorer in their history! Sam Greenwood and Joe Gelhardt are both getting minutes for the 1st team. Then you have the likes of Drameh - a 20 year old full back who was Cardiff's young player of the season last year and has played up to England U21 level. You could probably compare him to Cirkin in terms of profile. Oh and their keeper is the Norwegian u21 keeper who has started more than 50 games in professional football (so basically more experience and a higher profile than our first choice keeper). They had a very strong team out there.
Looked a good player in the few games we saw last season. Would be a better option than Gooch IMHO Hume will be raging
TM ALMOST SIGNED HUGGINS Today the gaffer confessed that during his time at Blackburn he came close to signing Niall Huggins. So it is clear to see how happy Mowbray will be to have him at his disposal. #SAFC ALMOST SIGNED AT BLACKBURN "I almost signed Niall at Blackburn Rovers, that's how much I like him as a player. He is a bundle of energy, of drive and of passion.” HARD WORKING LAD "I would have signed him because when you manage a football club for working class people who want to see their players giving everything - well Niall Huggins is the epitome of that."
